If one were to choose the locale for the ultimate staycation, one would have to place New York City on the top of the list. In the “city that never sleeps,” one would never run out of things to do, and all of them would be within reach. Of course, the outer boroughs offer wonderful experiences that include museums, parks, beaches, restaurants, and all types of cultural activities. However, for a true staycation challenge, one should try to stay within walking distance of home base.
