“If you’re looking for a beach getaway that doesn’t require getting on a plane, check out Wave Resort in Long Branch, NJ. I had never been there before and was definitely impressed by how far away I felt despite only being an hour and a half drive to the city. The best part is that basically anything you want to do (bars, restaurants, beach, shopping, etc) is walking distance from the hotel. Highlight was definitely the pool deck where you never had to fight for a chair or daybed and of course, the swim up bar.”
